Cúirt Interns for 2022

The Cúirt International Festival of Literature is delighted to announce that Mariah Inman and Sheridan Peña from the National University of Ireland, Galway Literature and Publishing master programme have joined the Cúirt team for the 2022 festival.

Mariah is the Marketing and Communications Intern for Cúirt. Her passion for production and design led her to Galway from the rainy state of Washington, in the United States. In 2020, Mariah earned a BA in Journalism and Media Production with a double minor in Comparative Ethnic Studies and Fine Arts from Washington State University.

Throughout her undergraduate degree, she worked in various jobs relating to journalism, academic writing, and marketing. Mariah hopes to provide excellent marketing graphics and pr content to encourage a broader net of partners, sponsors, and writers within the Cúirt community.

Sheridan is the Programme Intern for Cúirt. Her love of reading brought her to Galway from the United States.

In 2021, Sheridan earned a BA in English Literature with a minor in Psychology from Montana State University.

Sheridan brings with her three years of program and event coordination experience and is thrilled to combine two of her interests–literature and event planning–together in this internship position.

She strives to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for everyone from readers to writers and looks forward to sharing this with the Cúirt community.
