Leading Authors to Read at Free Events in Galway Libraries as Part of Cúirt

This year Cúirt continues its successful partnership with Galway City and County Libraries with visiting authors reading from their work at free events in Westside, Ballybane and Gort libraries on Thursday 26 April and Friday 27 April.

The participating authors are:

Kathleen Winter, internationally renowned Canadian author, who will read at Gort Library (Church Road, Gort, Co. Galway) at 11am on Thursday 26th April.

Kathleen will also read at Cúirt alongside Billy O’Callaghan at 4pm on Friday 27 April in the Town Hall Theatre. FULL DETAILS HERE.

Bernard MacLaverty is a Northern Irish writer based in Glasgow. His most recent novel, Midwinter Break, won the Bord Gais Energy Irish Novel of the Year Award. He will read at Westside library ( Westside Library, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway) at 11am on Thursday, 26th April.

Bernard will also read at Cúírt at 8pm on Wednesday 25 April in the Town Hall Theatre. FULL DETAILS HERE..

Juan Pablo Villalobos, a Mexican writer who will read at Ballybane Library (Ballybane Neighbourhood Village, Castlepark Road, Ballybane, Galway) at 11am on Friday, 27th April.

Juan Pablo will also read at Cúírt alongside Patrick McCabe at 8pm on Friday 27 April in the Town Hall Theatre. FULL DETAILS HERE..
