Hang on to your hats, Storytime has been Cúirt-ified! Come along and be part of the fun at Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop weekly story time session, with author and bookseller Méabh McDonnell. These special Storytime sessions will feature the best in Irish authors and illustrators. Open to all ages.
Méabh McDonnell was born in Dublin and grew up just outside Loughrea, County Galway. She has worked as a journalist, sub-editor, and book reviewer. She is currently the Children’s Section Manager in Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop, Galway. Méabh has always loved nature and folklore and the mysterious ways they intertwine. Her love of nature inspired her debut novel for children, Into the Witchwood, published by The O’Brien Press in 2024. Her second novel will be published this autumn. She lives in Co. Galway with her husband.

Back to What's OnThe Cornstore entrances are step free but have limited wheelchair access due to the width of the doors. The venue has internal steps with limited space to navigate with certain mobility
aids. The street entrance has a step. There is one accessible parking space on Middle Street immediately outside, and three spaces on Saint Augustine Street. There are no accessible public
bathrooms.
There is no Loop system.
