Launch: Patricia Forde Poetry Plaque Unveiling

As part of the ongoing Galway Poetry Trail, a new poem entitled “All in Together” by Patricia Forde will be launched at the junction of Church Lane and Market Street at 13:00 on the 6th of April. It is a delightful evocation of the games she and her friends played on the traffic-free streets when they were young.

Patricia Forde is a writer of both middle grade fiction and picture books. She has also written four plays, as well as several television drama series for children and teenagers. She is a beloved Galway writer who has given much back to the literary community here.
