Susannah Dickey and Mark O’Connell will discuss our cultural obsession with the true crime genre and its ethical implications, with Sinéad Gleeson. Susannah Dickey’s debut poetry collection ISDAL focuses on the case of the ‘Isdal Woman’, posing an inquiry into society’s fascination with female victims. In A Thread of Violence Mark O’Connell interrogates the nature of crime writing as he investigates one of the most notorious cases in Irish history.
