Join us for an evening of poetry featuring two exciting voices based in the north of Ireland, Alanna Offield and Zara Meadows.

Alanna’s debut They Wish They Had What We Have, Kid dives deep into her heritage as a New Mexican Chicana to offer us a collection that is introspective and full of courage and humanity.

Zara’s debut pamphlet, The End of Art, published this February by 14 Poems, explores love, queer identities and family connections.

Zara Meadows is a writer from Belfast. Their work has appeared in The Stinging Fly, Poetry London, Banshee, fourteen poems, Catflap, Trumpet, and elsewhere. Their debut pamphlet, The End of Art, is forthcoming with fourteen poems in February 2025. They are currently studying for an MA in Poetry at the Seamus Heaney Centre.

Alanna Offield is a Chicana from New Mexico who is now living in the North of Ireland. Her poetry has appeared in Howl, Cyphers, Abridged, and other publications.
