Join us for a conversation between two of the most interesting short story writers in Ireland today.

Tenterhooks by Claire-Lise Kieffer, weaves together darkly humorous and surreal stories of an Ireland at once familiar and otherworldly, exploring the fragile bonds between people and places in moments of crisis, transformation, and haunting discovery.

Free Therapy by Rebecca Ivory delves into the inner lives of men and women fluent in the language of therapy, yet trapped by their own unwillingness to change. Through sharp observations and wry humor, Ivory explores the complexities of desire, connection, and the soft insecurities that lie beneath the surface of modern life.

Claire-Lise Kieffer has stories published in Banshee, Crossways, the Honest Ulsterman, Profiles and more. Her flash fiction Woodlice Lessons was a winner in the Books Ireland competition, and her poetry was shortlisted in the Cúirt and Fish Publishing competitions.
