Join University of Galway’s Arts Council writer-in-residence for 2025 Molly Hennigan and special guests as they explore both visual and literary interpretations of Irish histories of incarceration.

While this aspect of our history has been relatively well-documented in Irish writing, the panel of speakers will delve further into our visual culture of remembering, asking how the two art forms can work together to document our past.
